Tóm tắt

 

            Bài báo nghiên cứu các loại SmartCard (thẻ có gắn vi xử lý), đặc điểm của mỗi loại, cấu trúc và cơ chế hoạt động, đặc biệt là kiến trúc an ninh của SmartCard – đặc điểm nổi bật này giúp SmartCard vượt trội hơn các loại thẻ khác như thẻ nhớ, thẻ nhớ thông minh, thẻ từ … Ngoài ra, bài báo cũng trình bày cách ứng dụng SmartCard vào các quy trình bảo mật có tính thực tiễn cao. Để minh họa, chúng tôi chọn một loại SmartCard điển hình là BasicCard, ứng dụng BasicCard vào quy trình “Ký nhận an toàn với chữ ký điện tử”.

APPLICATIONS OF SMARTCARD

Abstract

 

            The research article is about various kinds of SmartCard (CPU-based card), features of each ones, structure and mechanism of operation, especially about security architecture of SmartCard – the outstanding feature that makes SmartCard advantageous in comparing with other cards like memory card, advanced memory card, magnetic card, etc. In addition, the article also mentions applications of SmartCard in security processes which are highly applied in reality. For demonstration, we choose a typical kind of SmartCard – BasicCard, and apply BasicCard in “Secure Signing with Digital Signature” process.
