EFFECT OF

potassium phosphate cement (MKP) was prepared by mixing magnesium oxide with
hydrogen phosphates of potassium and magnesium called acidic components. The
setting reaction type is known as acid – base reaction. When MKP cement was
combined with water, the setting process occurred and formed a dense matrix.
The compressive strength of the concrete of MKP cement depended on the
reactivity of acidic component. When calcination temperature of the acidic
component was increased, their reactivity decreased and the compressive
strength of the concrete changed. Experimental results showed that the
compressive strength of the samples which maintained at room temperature for 24
hours was fairly high as the calcination temperature of the acidic components
was changed in the range of 270–3700C. This value of compressive
strength was equal to approximately 50% that of |
