Do đó việc tìm kiếm

Nhan, Shigetoshi Kadota1 Faculty of Chemistry, 1 Abstract: Gout is
a common disease with a worldwide distribution. Hyperuricemia, which associates
with gout, results from the overproduction or underexcretion of uric acid. High
level of uric acid may lead to deposits in joints, leading to acute gout.
Xanthine oxidase (XO) is an enzyme which plays a crucial role in the
development of gout. During the last step of purine metabolism, this enzyme
catalyses the oxidation of xanthine and hypoxanthine into uric acid. Thus, the
XO inhibitor may become a candidate of a drug for gout. The wood
of Caesalpinia sappan L.
(Caesalpiniaceae) has been used in Vietnamese traditional medicine for the
treatment of rheumatism and inflammatory diseases and as an emmenagogue and
homeostatic agent. In
